Order Replenishment Guidelines and Process

The standard outbound pick-pack process for stock replenishment is as follows:
  1. Stock Replenishment from WINEDEPOT Bulk to state depots is an automated process that occurs when stock has dropped 50% below its level stock will be sent to replenish. This feature must be turned on. Learn more here.

  2. Replenishment orders occurs weekly and may change with increased volumes.

  3. Replenishment orders for each depot will be typically be processed and dispatched on the same set days each week, to allow resources to be planned at each of the depots.

  4. Orders may be consolidated in batches but they will always remain separate for the purpose of interfacing and reporting.

  5. Replenishment orders will typically be single SKU in multiples of standard pallet layers – ie 64, 48, 32 or 16 x 9LE cases.

  6. In the instance the pick is not a full pallet, the required number of cases will be stacked upon a new pallet, which is provided a unique identification barcode that can be related to the inventory held on that pallet.

  7. Stacked pallets will be a maximum of 2 x half full pallets or 3 x single layer pallets to ensure that the combined weight is kept under 1 tonne.

  8. If there is inventory missing, it will not allow confirmation.

  9. Upon successful confirmation, an interface is triggered to update WINEDEPOT’s system, updating stock levels.
