Turning on and off automatic stock routing?

Turning on and off automatic stock routing?

Automatic stock routing is a feature that allows you to fulfill (ship) your order from the nearest depot. By default Automatic stock routing  is set to 'On'.

For all WA deliveries, the Perth depot will always be checked for stock first and prioritised above our Albury distribution center. If no stock is available in Perth then Albury is the next depot selected. This applies to all API and manual orders.

If you are using our Albury distribution center, automatic stock routing by default is fulfilled from Albury depot.

If you do not have inventory in Perth or Albury your order will be fulfilled from the nearest depot according to the order postcode if If auto routing is set to On, when you process your order and Force Dispatch From is set to auto for an order

In the event you are using our Albury depot and your stock has been depleted, when you process your order and Force Dispatch From is set to auto, your order will ship from the next nearest depot according to the order postcode. (provided you have at least one other active depot and available stock to fulfill the order)

If you would like to manually select the depot you would like your order to ship from, choose the depot from the 'Force Dispatch from' and select the depot from the drop-down list. We recommend selecting the nearest depot to your customer.

How to change the Automatic Routing setting.

1. Auto routing is set to 'On' by default and can be turned 'Off' from 'Preferences'. To access your preferences, click on your login name and select 'Edit Company Details'.
2. To enable or disable Automatic Routing, click on the button 'Disable Auto Depot Stock Routing'

Note: If automatic routing is switched to 'Off' and you have no wine left in our network to fulfill your order, your order will go to exception.
