What is an exception and how do I fix this?

Exceptions occur when there is issue with the order.  The following issues are associated with your order moving into exceptions:
  1. Incorrect delivery address -  We highly recommend you use our address lookup, to find the address by typing in the company name or address field first.
  2. Special characters added into a field.
  3. An incorrect email address (mandatory field)
  4. An incorrect phone number (mandatory field) must not include any special characters or spaces.
  5. If you selected a same day service and the postcode is outside of the same day region.
  6. If you select same day / trade service and the delivery is more than the 20 case limit.
To investigate why an order has an exception select the Fix Now button next to the order. Once you have checked and updated the order click the Update Order button to reprocess the order. If there are no errors the order will not be listed in exceptions and should move to Awaiting Shipment.
